About the Market

The Market is a wedding venue located in Northern IL. Situated in the heart of downtown Rockford, the building features gorgeous natural light and strong industrial touches throughout its historical interior. Whether you’re planning a small and simple gathering or an extravagant event, the design of the space allows you to build your dream wedding.

The Market consists of two main rooms, the Bowtruss Room and the Market Hall. The Bowtruss Room boasts high ceilings, exposed brick, and an outdoor balcony. The Market Hall consists of simple white walls and contemporary glass garage doors. The clean, white walls serve as the perfect blank canvas, ready to be adorned with florals, lighting, and custom designs that fit each couple’s vision. Your ceremony and reception can take place in either space, depending on your preferences.

As you prepare for the moment to say “I do”, you and your bridal party are welcome to relax in our Bridal Suite and Groom’s Room. The full-day access to these spaces is perfect for getting hair and makeup done on-site, freshening up between the ceremony and reception, or taking a quiet moment whenever you need it. The venue also offers a mixed-use space, the Gallery, which can be utilized for cocktail hours, photo booths, dessert displays, and more.

We had our wedding reception here and could not be happier with how everything turned out. It was the first place I thought of because of the location, and I'm so glad it all worked out! We had around 175 guests, so I wanted to have a space that allowed people to step outside if they wanted to, so the back alleyway had cocktail tables and a lot of people utilized the space. Maya was great to work with- timely responses, explained everything, leaving no surprises. Even though there was a lot of construction, Maya kept us updated and told us places for guests to park. The location is also a 10 minute walk to Embassy Suites which was very convenient. I'd recommend this venue to anyone

We had our wedding reception held at the Rockford City Market and definitely had the time of our lives! Initially when touring the venue we were impressed by the professionalism of the staff. They provided prompt responses to the many questions we had. Their communication was effective throughout our planning and day of activities. We felt comfortable and knew they had the intention to make our day the best possible. We did have the add-on of the bridal suite and loved having a spot to get ready that felt like an experience in itself. All and all we knew that we picked the best location that fit our vision as it has some history of Rockford and the downtown vibe that we love so much.

Market Hall

Our Market Hall showcases minimalism with white walls + contemporary, glass garage doors. Seating up to 200 guests, we offer both round and rectangular tables, along with white garden chairs.

Bowtruss Room

Our Bowtruss Room boasts high ceilings, ambient lighting, and original exposed brick. This space seats up to 200 guests and includes round or rectangular tables, black chiavari chairs, and exclusive use of the outdoor balcony.

Bridal Suite

With vanities for hair and makeup artists to work on site, a coffee maker and mini fridge for snacking all day, racks for hanging dresses and suits, and a cozy couch for relaxing and hanging with friends, our Bridal Suite is the perfect place for a bride to prepare to say "I DO"! Exclusive use of this room is included when booking both ceremony + reception, or may be added on a la cart.

Groom’s Suite

Having full-day access to the venue allows couples to enjoy their wedding day from start to finish. No need to rush back and forth between the venue and a hotel, get ready right here in our suites and enjoy a drink or two while spending the day with your best friends! Exclusive use of this room is included when booking with ceremony + reception, or may be added à la carte.
