A Rockford native and previous Marketing Intern for Rockford City Market, Maya is so excited to join our team again. She has been planning weddings and events for nearly 5 years; after earning her B.A. in Event Coordination from the University of Illinois, she found herself right back in Rockford assisting her clients with planning seamless weddings and executing a variety of private and community events. Maya loves above all clear communication with clients and making them feel heard and taken care of. No two events are the same, which makes every day exciting! When she is not meeting with clients or preparing for the next event, she loves to go to dinner with her family, hiking with her husband Tyler and their dog Ozzie, and hosting get-togethers + wine nights with her friends.

Tomasa is delighted to be a member of the Rockford City Market team. She has an eclectic background, most recently orchestrating a large range of events for West Bend, Wisconsin. She earned her B.A. in Public Relations from Marquette University and has planned events in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and in her hometown of Evanston, where she got her start at the Evanston Art Center. A long-standing passion for fashion and retail aligns with her strong interest in the products and stories of the members of the Market community. In her spare time, Tomasa enjoys traveling, learning about Italian and French culture, and spending time with her family and three cats.
