The Cheese People of Beloit is your source for artisan and farmstead cheeses both online and at their retail store in Beloit, Wisconsin. They began their journey as cheesemongers in 2009 setting up at two local farmers markets. In the fall of 2011 they had the opportunity to purchase an 101 year old building in downtown Beloit and began remodeling the space to create their first permanent retail location. They opened the doors to the store in May of 2012 and are open six days a week. Along with the cheese their farmers market customers are familiar with, they have added an ever-growing list of hand selected accompaniments, craft beers and wine in the store. They are adding new finds nearly every week.
