Looking for something fun to do for the holidays? Meet us at the Rockford City Market to assemble and decorate gingerbread houses! This workshop is for kids (ages 7+) and/or adults. With an assortment of fun candy, toppings, frostings, and more, you're sure to leave the Market with a one-of-a-kind (and delicious!) gingerbread creation.

Decorate on your own or with a friend*! Houses are $25 and include all your building materials, decorations, guidance from an instructor, and a seat in our state-of-the-art kitchen in our Indoor Rockford City Market Building. RSVP on Eventbrite!

Meet our Instructors for the event! Together Tracey Vukalovich and Jody Perrecone, have over 35 years of culinary instructing experience in Australia, California and Illinois. Based on secondary school teaching, nutrition, and food technology qualifications, they share a passion for teaching the lifelong skills associated with the culinary arts. They are excited about creating a space where families in Rockford can come together to share generational culinary skills.
