2020 Outdoor Market -- Weeks 1-3!
Things definitely look different this summer at the Market…
Due to current situations, we’ve been adjusting our plan for the 2020 Market season as the weeks progress. The first two weeks we were limited (by the health department and local restrictions) to specific kinds of vendors, no eating or drinking on site, face coverings, no live music…
We were still thrilled to be able to host the Market because our ultimate goal is to support local vendors and growing small businesses (who for some, the Market is one of their biggest means of income every year), but we were definitely bummed to have to cut out some of the things that make the Market as fun as it has been in previous years.
That being said, for week three we were given the green light to bring back some socially distanced seating and food & drink consumption on site!
The safety of our vendors, staff, and patrons will always be at the forefront of our decisions, but we were definitely excited to bring back these elements (even if they still look a little different this year). We’re so grateful for our loyal patrons and vendors that have supported us through all of these constantly changing situations. We’re sure things will keep changing, but we’re ready and excited to keep adjusting as we go.
